Port of Vancouver 150

Educational Touchscreen Exhibit

port-2-ship

An educational touchscreen kiosk to illustrate the history of Vancouver's Port, in conjunction with Canada's 150th birthday. Using archival images and historical records, we designed two interactive touchscreens. These were each custom built in wood and corten steel kiosks, with the themes "Looking Back" and "Moving Forward" — the latter of which shares ideals for how the Port and the planet can coexist. These were installed in the Port of Vancouver Discovery Centre at Canada Place.
